Zara Labrenz has always loved dogs. She grew up with several Springers and had fun duck hunting with them. In 2018, she started working at Lighthouse Kennels where she learned to how to train dogs from Jason Givens, who has been a great mentor to help Zara grow as a trainer. In 2020, she founded Belle Fountain Kennels. In 2021, she welcomed her first Springer litter and the kennel facility she calls home was built. Another instrumental figure in Zara‘s dog training journey is Kaye Wyn-Givens. Kaye introduced Zara to working with the minor breed spaniels including American Cockers. These breeds can present a unique challenge to train and require creative training techniques. Since then, Zara has worked with a variety of different breeds helping them become hunting and hunt test dogs. She is a sought after AKC Hunt Test judge. She has handled numerous dogs to their Hunt Test titles. She has run AKC Field Trials and Field Trial puppy stakes, earning ribbons and building friendships. One of her favorite moments was handling her first dog, Kirby, to his Field Champion title in Oct of 2025.
Zara‘s breeding program has grown since 2021 and she strives for excellence and biddability in the dogs she produces. She loves raising puppies and works hard make sure her puppies are ready for the next chapter of their lives.    

Javin Labrenz, known by many as simply Zara’s dad. He is what makes Zara’s training possible year round. He works hard to ensure the training grounds are usable in any season. Snowplowing, grass cutting and tree trimming are all large parts of what make the grounds so beautiful.
He also manages and cares for all the training birds Zara uses with the dogs. This includes raising over 2000 birds of different varieties each year.
In his spare time, he helps Zara with training dogs and runs his Springers in AKC events. He is an AKC hunt test judge.
Zara is incredibly thankful to have Javin as a part of this team.   

Ana Labrenz, Zara's younger sister, is an important part of the Belle Fountain team. Ana is a professional groomer. Her business Twin Pines LLC  helps keep our dogs looking their best. She offers a wide variety of services including nail trimming, baths and full grooms. Ana also helps Zara care for the dogs and puppies during the week. She is a kind and gentle person that the dogs love being around.
